Welcome to Y4LC
We are delighted to welcome our pupils back to Hucklow. We are extremely proud of the Y4 pupils for how they have returned to school. Everyone has made a fantastic start and has adapted quickly to the new routines at school. Thank you to all of our parents who continue to support us at this time.
Y4LC have had a great start to the new term. They have enjoyed some outdoor learning, showing their competitive skills during an outdoor maths lesson and going on a nature hunt during PSHE. They have enjoyed some athletics and sprinting during PE, being creative with water colour in art and have enjoyed their new class book- ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’ by Roald Dahl.
This term our curriculum topic is based on the question, ‘What do you know about Spain?’ Children will conduct research and learn about Spanish culture, the geography of Spain, the language and the significant people from Spain. They have already made a start with their research, and have learned about Spanish football and festivals.
