Red Nose Day at Hucklow is always a fun event. As part of our efforts to raise money for good causes students dressed as members of staff and adults dressed as school children in a role reversal day.
In Year 5 and Year 6 the children looked at the story of Farhad, a young refugee and in their respective year groups created poems and fact sheets around what they had learnt.
In the afternoon, some staff were (reluctantly…only kidding!) volunteered to be cream – pied in order to raise extra money for Red Nose Day.
Miss Irwin, Senior Inclusion Manager, organised the cream pie event and said ‘The whole team of people involved in the pie-ing were truly amazing! We have a set of staff with a wonderful sense of humour and the children loved seeing their teachers covered in cream pies!’
Fortunately for all staff involved, Miss Irwin got pied too!
